How to use digital multimeter to measure the quality of 220 Submersible pump
1. Check for leakage
The water pump has leakage and cannot be used at all. Even if it can be barely used, there are still too many safety hazards. Set the digital meter to the maximum resistance position, measure the power plug to the water pump casing, and check if there is at least {{0}}.5 megohm of insulation resistance. The higher the resistance value, the better. If the resistance value is greater than or equal to 0.5 megohm, there is basically no leakage. If the number shows zero, it indicates serious leakage and there is a grounding fault.
2. Check the coil
If there is no leakage, start this step and measure whether the power plug is connected on the 2k gear of the digital meter. If it is not connected, confirm that the coil is burnt out or disconnected for some reason, and ask the maintenance technician to handle it.
If the live wire of the plug is measured and the zero wire is connected, then there is no problem. If it's too troublesome, you can plug in and test the machine. If it still doesn't work, remove the water pump cover and measure whether the three wires meet the resistance relationship of rCR plus rCS=rRS. That is, the resistance relationship between the public end, startup end, and running end.
