According to different concentrations, separator electrodes are divided into two types: polarographic and galvanic. The polarographic diaphragm electrode uses silver{{0}}silver chloride as the counter electrode, the electrolyte inside the electrode is potassium chloride, and the outside of the electrode is polyethylene and polytetrafluoroethylene film with a thickness of 25-50μm. The dissolved oxygen in the water penetrates into the inside of the electrode, the voltage between the two electrodes is controlled at 0.5-0.8V, and the dissolved oxygen concentration can be known by measuring the diffusion current through the external circuit. The primary cell type uses silver as the anode electrode and lead as the cathode electrode. The anode and silver electrodes were immersed in a potassium hydroxide electrolytic cell to form two half-cells with the outer layers also sealed with film. The dissolved oxygen is reduced at the anode to generate a diffusion current, and the dissolved oxygen concentration can be obtained by measuring the diffusion current.
